  • USAT Liberty Ship Wreck (Highlight)

The USAT Liberty was a cargo ship that was torpedoed by a Japanese submarine during World War II. The ship was towed to Tulamben beach to be salvaged but was pushed back into the sea by a volcanic eruption in 1963. The wreck now lies in shallow waters just a few meters from the shore, making it easily accessible to divers of all levels.

The site is known for its stunning underwater scenery, vibrant coral gardens, underwater statues and diverse marine life. It’s located just around 5 minutes drive from USAT Liberty shipwreck

Next to coral Garden is Tulamben wall, With a steep wall topography, various coral and gorgonian grow well on this wall

  • Batu Kelebit

Divers can explore the nooks and crannies of the reef and discover a wealth of colorful corals, sponges, and sea fans, as well as a diverse range of fish, such as angelfish, clownfish, and triggerfish.

  • Kubu or Boga wreck

Boga wreck, this is the newest ship wreck in Bali, only sunk in 2012. Previously it was a dutch built cargo ship, about 40 meters long and is lying between 16-39 meters on a sandy bottom. Originally it was meant to only lie at a max depth of 32 meters but factors such as the initial sinking and environmental conditions have led it to slowly sink deeper and deeper over time. We believe now though that it has reached its final resting place.

The Boga is just a short drive up the to the north from the Liberty in Tulamben. The dive itself starts off a pebble beach in a nice shallow area which slowly slopes down towards the ship – on your decent you can frequently see octopus, nudibranchs, lobsters and nice corals. After a short 5 minute swim suddenly a dark shape will start approaching and the impressive view of the bow of the Boga will appear. Starting at about 16-18 meters you athen can explore the wreck swimming around the structure of the boat and for the more experienced divers there is a really nice area to explore the inside of the wreck
